Mothering Sunday Church Parade & GSL investiture .....

This Sunday (11th March) is the first in the calendar year of our Church Parades. All members are expected to be there in full uniform. Please be at St Mark's Church, De Vere Gardens, Woodthorpe for 10.20 as the service is a 10.30 start. During the service, bunches of daffodils will be handed out by our young members other young people to mothers at the service. The service will finish at approx. 11.30 with a donations coffee/juice bar at the end. I believe there may even be cake this time!

N.B. In addition, at this service our Scout District Commissioner will be with us to invest Ben Danvers as our new Group Scout Leader (GSL) in front of our leaders, young members, their families, and the congregation. It would be brilliant, and much appreciated, to have a good turnout for this important event. It will give the young members and yourselves an opportunity to meet our new GSL - the guy who has volunteered to manage the leadership team of our Group.

Thank you
3W leaders
